Every crisis and period of disruption such as Covid-19 has seeds of opportunity within it.  As a leader you can either curl up or you can double down and figure out a way forward.

Now, a crisis can be any unexpected event which has major negative ramifications if not addressed.

And a crisis inevitably leads to a period of confusion and possibly fear.

But if you stay in this mode, you risk being paralysed and not taking any action.

So the first step is to get clarity as to the next steps.  Figure out what you can control and do that.

The serenity prayer encapsulates this beautifully.   God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Stepping out with courage will build your confidence and self belief.

And as you put one foot in front of the other, you’ll attain a sense of purpose and conviction leading to a level of certainty and calmness knowing you’re on the right path.

Ultimately this leads to place where you have choice and the freedom to choose.

Now having said that, often this is easier said than done.

Which is why I strongly believe we all need coaches and mentors in our lives.

Should you choose to work with us in that capacity, this is the path we take our clients on to gracefully handle whatever comes their way, so they come out the other end stronger and more resilient.

Our goal is to move you from a sense of crisis to choice and freedom.

So if what I’ve said resonates with you, and you feel I could help, reach out.  Our Graceful Growth Business mentoring program has helped leaders like you successfully navigate the path to consistent growth.
