Over the years Barbara and I have heard lots of inspirational business stories. Stories of triumph over Stories connect peopleadversities. Stories that have educated and touched us in many ways.

We all have a story within us.

Maybe you’ve always wanted to tell it but never found a mechanism. Some of you may think your story isn’t worth telling, but let others be the judge of this. Often something you might say (which you believe is insignificant) can have a profoundly positive impact on someone else’s life. Don’t take this away from them.

We’d like to give you a platform to share your knowledge and experience.

What’s in it for you?

One of the biggest barriers we all face is a lack of trust. People want to get a sense for who you are. Your background, values, principles you run your business by and ultimately what you can do for them.

By sharing your story you allow people into your life. Yes you show some vulnerabilities, but that’s what helps people connect with you.

What’s the process?

We’ll interview you for somewhere between 20 to 40 minutes via skype. We’ll have a structured conversation with questions along these lines:

  • What it is your business does
  • How you got started
  • Your philosophy – both personal and in business
  • What do you enjoy most
  • What makes you unique
  • Your biggest success and the biggest failure that you learned most from
  • What ways have you found most effective in promoting your business
  • What issues you’ve faced along the way and how you’ve overcome them
  • What significant changes have you seen take place in the profession over the years
  • What you see as coming trends in your industry
  • And what advice you’d give to someone starting out

Why is this useful and what can you do with it?

We live in a content driven world. You can use the interview in many ways.

You can put it up on your website, on social media – Facebook, LinkedIn etc. and ITunes.

You could create a CD and send it to prospects as a way of introduction to you. Or give it to your clients to give to prospective referrals so they get to know you in a hands off way.

Interested?

Drop me a note and tell me a bit about yourself, your business and why you believe our audience would like to hear more about you, your wisdom and what you’ve accomplished.

We’ll then have a preliminary conversation to see whether it’s worth moving forward.

Go on, email me at rk@revealedresources.com or call me on (02) 9499-7958. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
