There’s a wonderful saying, “Opportunity dances with those already on the dance floor”.  Translate that into a business setting and there’s often opportunity to sell more when you’re delivering services.

Open your eyes! Look around.  What other projects are on the go?  What other areas could you help with?  Who are you bumping into that could have a need?

Sure this may be harder as we all work remotely, but the fact remains, unless you keep your eyes open, observe and then ask questions, you’re likely to be missing out on business.

Your mantra has to be sell, deliver, observe and sell!

And you need to have your delivery people change their mindsets to do the same.  Show them why it’s in their best interest to keep their eyes open, make suggestions and report back to you so you can sell more.  After all, that’s ultimately what pays their salary.
