For years I’ve banged on about the importance of credibility and social proof in marketing. Received a great example from a client, Rhonda Campbell of Menopause the Natural Way, the other day.

Titled: Homeopathy & Queen Elizabeth, Rhonda went on to say…

“So why does the Queen never sneeze in public?

For her extended foreign tours, the Queen’s luggage can weigh more than four tons — and that includes 60 vials of homeopathic medicines, carried in a special leather case, without which she won’t travel anywhere.

She is a firm believer in alternative remedies, preferring them to conventional medicine.

She has even been known to treat one of her corgis homoeopathically after the animal cut its foot.

She bathed the wound in a special ointment and the injured paw was healed within days. When she was asked why she used the treatment, she replied: ‘If it’s good enough for me, it should be good enough for my dogs.’”

A great plug for Homeopathy! What makes this even more effective is the timing.

It’s the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – so there’s a lot of interest in all things Royal.

And of course, celebrity endorsement – There’s no denying her status – and if it’s good enough for some supposedly as conservative has her, could it be good enough for me?
