The new year is rapidly looming.  What will it bring?  None of us can predict the future.  But we can learn from history.

Now is a great time to sit back and reflect on what you learned this year.  What worked?  What didn’t?  What would you do differently with the benefit of hindsight?

Look to the future and ask yourself what it might hold.  How will you handle whatever comes up?

Look inwards as well as outwards.  Inwards involves your own vision, mindset and strategy.  Are you and your team clear on your values?  What resources you’ll need.  Are the right people in the right roles?  Who will do what.  What will your lines of responsibility and accountability be.  How will you keep score?

Outwards means what you’ll be delivering and for whom.  What are your clients looking for from you.  Is it more of the same or are there new opportunities to sell, both to them as well as new markets.

What’s your competition doing?  What separates you from them?  How are you positioned in your market?  Generalist, specialist or elite authority?

Do you have a comprehensive marketing and sales plan?  Absolutely clear on who your ideal prospects are and how to reach them?

Talk to your clients.  If you’re not comfortable doing so, we’ll interview your clients on your behalf and give you actionable insights.
