I’d never heard of Temple Grandin. Let alone the movie about her life.
For those of you in the same boat, Temple is on the Autistic Spectrum and best known for her revolutionising the way livestock are handled on cattle stations and abattoirs.
In this TED talk (watched by almost 4 million people) Temple demonstrates why the world needs all kinds of minds. And that a great deal of major innovation is done by people on the spectrum.
It’s different, but well worth watching.
