I was recently interviewed by Tom Poland of the 8020Center.
Tom publishes 5 minute (to the second) interviews with entrepreneurs and luminaries like Ivan Misner (the founder of BNI), Richard Koch – author of numerous books on the 80/20 principle and John Demartini.
So I was honoured to be invited.
In my 5 minutes I cover:
- How to frame meetings with prospective clients so everyone is “on the same page”
- How to uncover a person’s deepest motivations
- How to easily stay in control of your meetings with prospects
- How to avoid the biggest mistake when concluding meeting with prospects
Quite a lot for 5 minutes – which goes by very quickly when you’re talking.
Which brings me to another point.
Whenever you speak – be it in a talk or sales presentation, you must prepare. And you must have a structure. Or you’ll wander around boring the pants off your audience.
We have one which we teach our clients who go onto closing far more business as a result. If you’d like to do the same, call us and we’ll work on yours.
Back to the presentation – You can watch it here.
