I’ll warrant that most of you have seen tough times at some point of your lives.
I’ve always lived by the maxim, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. And it’s a mindset that’s served me well.
Which reminded me of another couple of quotes from Robert H. Schuller, “Tough times never last but tough people do”, “Success is never ending. Failure is never final” and “Never believe in never”.
Success or failure always starts as an inside job.
In the words of the late Zig Ziglar, “It’s your attitude not your aptitude which will determine your altitude in life”.
As business owners we all have choices.
We can blame the economy, the Government, lack of consumer confidence or whatever else. Or we can take charge of our own destinies, find new markets, sell more and live a good life while serving others.
Over the last 15 years Barbara and I have helped businesses take control of their future, find new markets and in some cases double and even triple revenue and profitability in 2 to 3 years.
