The Two Traits of Every Great Salesperson – After decades working with salespeople, I’ve noticed two key attributes that separate the best from the rest:

1️⃣ Empathy – The ability to deeply listen – not just to what’s said, but what’s left unsaid. Women often excel here, naturally drawing out more context before jumping to solutions. Men, on the other hand, tend to hear a problem and immediately offer a fix, sometimes missing the deeper issue. True sales mastery lies in balancing both – listening first, then guiding toward a solution.

2️⃣ Leadership – Guiding the prospect to a decision that serves both their interests and yours. Sales isn’t about forcing a deal; it’s about helping someone commit to solving their problem.

At its core, sales is simple:

✅ Is there a real problem?
✅ Do they actually want to solve it?
✅ Will they invest time, money, and effort?
✅ Is it happening now or never?
