The Sales Operating System

For Professional Services Firm Owners Who Are Tired of Being the Sole Rainmaker

The Outcome

You’re running a professional services firm with 5–100 staff. You’re good at what you do. But you’re also the only person who brings in new business. This changes that. You get a sales system that works without you being in every conversation. Your team starts contributing to revenue. Your pipeline fills consistently. And your business becomes something that runs whether you’re in the room or not.

Why This Exists

Right now your week looks like this. Monday you’re in delivery. Tuesday you’re managing staff issues. Wednesday you remember you haven’t followed up on that proposal from three weeks ago. Thursday a prospect calls and you squeeze in a meeting between two client jobs. Friday you look at the month ahead and think “where’s the next piece of work coming from?”

Your team won’t sell. They tell you it’s not their job. You’ve maybe hired a salesperson who didn’t work out because they didn’t understand your technical world. Or you tried a marketing agency that produced nice content but zero leads.

Meanwhile you’re doing everything. Running the business, keeping clients happy, putting out fires, and somehow also being the entire sales department. There aren’t enough hours. And the thing that keeps nagging at you is this: if you stopped for a month, the pipeline would dry up. The business depends on you for revenue and you know that’s not sustainable.

Who This Is For / Who It Isn’t

This is for founders and managing directors of professional services firms. MSP owners, engineering firms, IT companies, accounting practices, financial planning firms, cybersecurity businesses. You’ve built something solid. You’ve got staff. You’re technically excellent. But revenue still depends on you personally and you know that has to change.

This is not for you if you want a quick fix or a magic script. It’s not for people who think “selling” means manipulating people into buying things they don’t need. And it’s not for firms that aren’t willing to change how they operate. This is a system, not a shortcut. If you want someone to just “get you leads” without changing anything about how your firm develops business, we’re not the right fit.

Why Me

I spent the first part of my career as a mechanical engineer. Then I moved into software technology. I was the technical person who had to figure out how to sell, and I hated everything about how selling was taught. Pushy. Manipulative. Uncomfortable. So I spent the next 40 years building a different approach. One based on influence, not pressure. On systems, not heroics.

I’ve been a Board Certified NLP Trainer since 1999, which means I understand how people make decisions and how trust actually works in a conversation.

I’ve had retainer clients for 10 and 20 years. Not because I lock people into contracts but because the work keeps delivering.

I don’t teach you to become a salesperson. I build a system that means your whole firm contributes to revenue, not just you.

What Actually Happens

It starts with a diagnostic session. We pull your pipeline apart, find where you’re leaking revenue, and identify the single biggest thing to fix first.

From there we build your Sales Operating System. This integrates three things: your strategy (who you’re targeting and why), your marketing (how you attract the right conversations), and your sales process (how you convert those conversations into signed work).

We work together on a retained basis. Typically fortnightly sessions. I work directly with you and, where relevant, with your team. We build the system piece by piece: your pipeline structure, knowing what to say in a sales meeting, your proposal process, your follow-up rhythm.

This isn’t a course you watch and hope to implement. We build it together, inside your business, with your real clients and real opportunities. You’ll see the impact in your pipeline within the first month. Most clients see a measurable shift in conversion rates within the first quarter.

Proof

Victor and Reshmi run Right Property Group. When they started working with us they charged $3,000 to find an investment property. They now charge $19,000. They attribute a significant part of their sales success to the frameworks we built together.

Ken’s firm was turning over $3 million. After working together, they hit $11.5 million.

Dylan runs a fire engineering practice. After we built his business development system, he became so profitable and had so much inbound work that he called and asked us to turn the tap off.

Kemppi, a welding company, became the second most profitable subsidiary worldwide after Germany and achieved the highest sales turnover in their company’s history.

Price, Scope and Risk

The Initial Pipeline Diagnostic is $1,500 + GST. You leave with a clear picture of where you’re leaking revenue and one specific fix to implement this week.

The full Sales Operating System engagement is a retained advisory relationship. Pricing depends on the scope and size of your firm. We’ll discuss that after the diagnostic if it makes sense to continue.

What’s included: direct access to me, structured fortnightly sessions, frameworks and tools built for your specific firm, and accountability to make sure things actually get implemented.

What’s NOT included: me doing your selling for you. This is a system we build together. Your commitment to implementation is what makes it work.

The risk reversal is simple. We start with the diagnostic. $1,500. If after 90 minutes you don’t have a clear, actionable insight you didn’t have before, you’ll know immediately. There’s no long-term commitment upfront. The retainer relationship starts only if the diagnostic shows we’re a good fit and you want to keep going.

Why Now

Every month without a system costs you. Not just in revenue you’re missing, but in the opportunities your team isn’t having conversations about. In the proposals that go cold because nobody followed up. In the deals you underpriced because you were too busy to think it through.

And there’s a bigger cost. The longer your business depends entirely on you for revenue, the less it’s worth to a buyer. If you’re thinking about exit in three to five years, the clock is running. A business that generates revenue without the founder in every deal is worth multiples more than one that doesn’t. Every month you wait to fix this is a month of enterprise value you’re not building.

Your Next Step

Book a Pipeline Diagnostic. $1,500 + GST. You’ll leave knowing exactly where your firm is leaking revenue and the one thing to change this week. If it makes sense to keep working together from there, we’ll talk about it. If not, you still walk away with a clear answer.
